We are a professional commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning company serving restaurants and commercial facilities throughout the Big Island. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician.
In this role, you will perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of kitchen exhaust systems, ensuring optimal airflow, fire safety, and regulatory adherence.
This is a hands-on, physical position performed primarily at night when restaurants are closed. Our technicians clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, filters, ductwork, and exhaust fans.
No experience is required. We provide paid training.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week
- Starting pay: $20.00 per hour
- Paid drive time
- Typically Sunday through Thursday
- Primarily overnight work
- Start and finish times vary depending on the job
- Opportunity for a pay increase after 30 days based on progress and performance evaluation

What You’ll Do:
- Clean commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans.
- Set up and break down job sites.
- Use pressure-washing and industry-specialized cleaning equipment.
- Work on ladders and access rooftops when required.
- Protect customer equipment and maintain a clean work area.
- Take before-and-after photos and thoroughly complete required job documentation.
- Properly clean, maintain, and care for company tools and equipment.
- Travel to job sites throughout the Big Island as part of a crew.

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to safely climb and work from ladders to access high and hard-to-reach areas.
- Ability to safely access and work on commercial rooftops.
- Ability to safely operate pressure-washing and commercial cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work safely and follow company procedure.
- Ability to work overnight and maintain dependable attendance.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
